Heidelberg Farms is a small family farm owned and operated by Jeff and Hollie Duet. Located between Folsom and Franklinton, the land has been farmed by their family since the 1920’s. Heidelberg Farms has grown, canned and processed their own food for years and would like to share it with you.
At Heidelberg Farms, growing seasonal vegetables as well as sweet corn, red beans and melons what they are known for. Heidelberg also produces raw local honey from their own bee hives on site. They raise and produce fresh yard eggs and several jams, jellies and preserves. They also farm quail and sell fresh and pickled quail eggs. All of their birds are raised without medications and fed a high protein diet with no corn products.
The owners of Heidelberg Farms have full time professional jobs. The couple work a full time week, and tend to the farm before and after their “day jobs.” Farming and producing high end, quality and fresh products is not a necessity for them, it is a passion. They practice organic farming methods, but are not USDA certified organic. No matter what season it is, they strive to deliver the highest quality of farm fresh products to their local community.
